Shop The Collection: My Favorite Outdoor Furniture

When you think of interior design, the first thing that probably comes to mind is decorating the interior rooms in your home. But great design doesn’t have to stop at the front door. You should also think of your backyard or patio as another space in your home that deserves its own ambience. It should be pretty and inviting, but also practical and functional, whether you’re using it for dining, lounging, or all of the above. I’ve put together my favorite outdoor furniture pieces below. Mix and match them as you like to create an outdoor oasis that’s blooming with comfort and style!

Outdoor Dining Table

Let’s start with the essentials. Four Hands is my go-to vendor for outdoor tables and chairs because they have lots of options with plenty of style AND practicality. For a simple minimalist look, I love this teak table. It’s easy to coordinate with just about any style, providing the perfect blank canvas for funky chairs or unique tabletop decor.

But maybe you want the table to do the talking! There is also this decorative teak table, with a slat design that makes a pretty focal point. It easily seats eight people, so you can share good times with friends around it. If you prefer heavier materials, the Cyrus dining table is another excellent choice. I might be partial to this table because Cyrus is my son’s name! 😍 The top is made of poly-resin from river sand, and the base is durable black iron that has been shaped into sharp lines for a contemporary feel.

A dining experience in the great outdoors is not complete without comfortable chairs. And when it comes to comfort, you can never go wrong with a top cushion. This monochromatic dining chair is streamlined and neutral enough to pair with pops of bright summer colors. (Because you KNOW how I feel about color!)

And while we’re on the topic of neutrals that are anything but boring, can we take a moment to appreciate this woven dining chair?? The curves of the chair mimic the organic shapes found in nature, and the color of the woven synthetic material creates a nice sense of contrast against the light-colored tables I mentioned above. Put a fun, patterned outdoor throw pillow on that bad boy and you’ve got a whole look. Or you can try this natural dining chair woven from thick rope. Woven chairs are a smart way to add texture to your outdoor furniture setup!

If relaxed lounge seating is more your style, you’ll love these sofas. This woven sofa is made of all-weather wicker that can withstand outdoor conditions. And don’t even get me started about that super-plush cushioning. It’s the kind of luxurious backyard furniture that you can sink into and take a nap in the sun on a Saturday afternoon. I love this neutral teak sofa for similar reasons as well.

But for the ultimate flexible lounging experience, nothing beats this outdoor sectional from Arhaus. It features strong performance fabric and a stylish hand-tufted design. And that’s not even the best part! This sofa is available in modular pieces, so that you can arrange them in any configuration that best fits your needs.

Even if you’re not ready to bring home a big piece of outdoor furniture today, you can dress up your outdoor spaces with simple accessories - like an accent stool! This will add a pop of color or a fun pattern to the area, without breaking the bank. Stools are also great multi-purpose pieces, since they can be used as a table or seating as needed. Check out this ceramic ombre garden stool, or go bold with a patterned stool. You can even get playful and include something fun for the kids with this adorable lacquered owl stool.

With just a few simple updates, you can improve the atmosphere of your outdoor space and make it a place where you want to spend ALL of your time. Shop my favorite outdoor furniture pieces below to soak up the sunny days in style!
